What exactly is the One Man One Mic Foundation?

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to veteran storytelling, narrative therapy, and holistic recovery. We use podcasting—through our PodLab and StoryLab programs—to give veterans a mic to process trauma, reclaim their narrative, and build community through voice.

Do I have to be in South Florida to participate?

Our physical headquarters and local events are based in the West Palm Beach/Boca Raton area, but our mission is nationwide. The VetsConnection Podcast, our online community, and the Resource Library are accessible to veterans anywhere.

What kind of resources are in the Vault?

We cut out the fluff. Our Resource Library is a highly vetted tactical grid focused on story-healing modalities, VA logistical support, and therapies such as equine, tichi, art, and podcasting. We prioritize making is easy for you to explore all options, organizations, opportunities, and more for the veteran community.

Is there a cost for veterans to use the PodLab or resources?

No. Our core programs, including narrative therapy guidance and podcast training, are provided at no cost to participating veterans, funded through our donors, merch sales, and community support.

Do I have to share my trauma publicly?

Never. The StoryLab allows you to process your experiences privately. Choosing to step up to the mic and broadcast your story on the VetsConnection Podcast is always 100% your call. You own your narrative.
