About Us

Empowering veterans to transform their experiences into impactful stories through podcasting.

The One Man One Mic Foundation is a veteran-focused nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering veterans to transform their lived experiences into impactful stories through the medium of podcasting. We believe that every veteran carries a story that deserves to be heard, and that the act of sharing those stories can be a powerful tool for healing, connection, and personal growth.

Our platform serves veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces, providing them with the training, equipment, and community support they need to launch their own podcasts. Through our flagship programs — PodLab, an eight-week podcasting training course, and StoryLab, a six-week storytelling and narrative therapy workshop — we help veterans develop the technical skills and narrative craft to share their experiences with the world.

The foundation is built and operated by a dedicated team of veterans, storytellers, podcast professionals, and mental health advocates who understand the unique challenges veterans face. Our Board of Directors brings decades of combined experience in media, military service, and nonprofit leadership. Together, we are committed to creating a space where veterans can find their voice, build community, and reclaim their narratives on their own terms.

All of our programs are offered completely free of charge to eligible veterans. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, funded by donations from supporters who believe in the power of storytelling to change lives.
